EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY FOR ALL FINAL CERTIFICATIONS:  In accordance with state law and  the policies of Louisiana Economic Development, prior to any certification of the state-certified production, the motion picture production company shall submit to the Office of Entertainment Industry Development a cost report of production expenditures audited and certified by an independent certified public accountant in accordance with the established auditing guidelines.  Click HERE for a copy of the guidelines and HERE to view ACT 456. 

The Louisiana Motion Picture Incentive Program was created in order to acheive three basic goals:

• To encourage film and video production in Louisiana
• To advocate the hiring of Louisiana technical crew and talent
• To support and encourage the use of Louisiana equipment and services related to film and video production
