WEATHER PATTERNS

Spring is beautiful, especially April-May. Fall is likewise gorgeous, with October being the driest month of the year. In mid-Summer, brief, intense afternoon thunderstorms are common, mornings tend to be clear.

Winter in Louisiana is a succession of "fronts" coming through, usually accompanied by rain, but followed by clear, crisp weather. Over a period of a few days, temperatures rise and clouds roll in from the Gulf, until another front comes through to complete the cycle.
